Congratulations to Kathleen Page, MD, assistant professor of medicine and a member of the Diabetes and Obesity Research Institute as she has been awarded a prestigious Pathway Accelerator Award from the American Diabetes Association. Page received the award for early career investigators for her translational research project entitled, “Neural Mechanisms in Maternal-Fetal Programming for Obesity and Diabetes.” The award will provide $1.63 million in support for five years and is part of American Diabetes Association’s initiative, Pathway to Stop Diabetes.
